- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Butner, North Carolina, intends to issue a firm-fixed price, sole source purchase order to Olympus, 3500 Corporate Parkway, Center Valley, PA, 18034-0610. This non-competitive action is being issued by the Federal Correctional Complex, Butner, NC. The Federal Correctional Complex has a need for Endoscopes and maintenance services. The Government believes that Olympus is the only vendor that will satisfy the agency requirement for equipment and services. FCC Butner currently uses Olympus equipment and their capability with inventory and reliability of services and equipment have been proven. This is not a request for competitive quotes. This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, all information received within 5 working days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
