- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W911SG-92307000. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is corrected to read: SUBJECT TO AVAILABILIY OF FUNDS W90BBK92307000- Rental of 12-FOOT STAKE BED TRUCK (1 EACH) Dates needed- 1 OCTOBER 2009 TO 30 SEPTEMBER 2010 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-25. This procurement is 100% small-business set-aside. Contractors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award. Register at www.ccr.gov. The vendor must be ORCA certified at https://orca.bpn.gov/. Applicable NAICS code is 532120. See below for description of services requested. Award will be made to the lowest offeror whose services meet the Governments minimum needs. DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items is applicable to include: 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests, and 252.247.7023 w/ Alt III Transportation of Supplies by Sea. Description of items: 12 Foot Stake Bed Truck, QTY- 1 each Dates rental needed: 1 OCTOBER 2009 TO 30 SEPTEMBER 2010. Diesel Only Contractor will be responsible for providing routine maintenance including oil changes, mechanical failures, and inspections. All maintenance will be in accordance with the manufacturer recommended scheduled maintenance and service for the vehicle. The contractor will provide an on-call service technician 24 hours per day/7 days a week and will respond within 4 hours of call to the location of the truck. The contractor must provide a replacement truck within 24 hours should a mechanical problem arise that cannot be fixed on site by technician at no extra charge to the Government. Minimum Size is 12. Air Conditioning Required. 2 to 3 Passenger Capacity. Transmission Automatic. **The following must be furnished with the quotation: 1. Complete descriptive literature for the items proposed; items must be equivalent to the specifications listed above; 2. Prompt payment terms; 3. Completed copy of provision at DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. Quotes shall be faxed or emailed to the attention of Dawn Montgomery at 915-568-0836, dawn.montgomery@us.army.mil, no later than 12:00 PM MDT on 30 September 2009. Deliver to: Contractor is to deliver the trucks to Fort Bliss, Texas 79916 by 1 October 2009 and pick up by 30 September 2010 or as specified in the award. Contractor is to have all fluids in the truck upon delivery. Government will be responsible for fuel during leased period of performance.
