DESCRIPTION: The General Services Administration (GSA), is interested in leasing approximately 11,350 rentable square feet of contiguous office and related space yielding a minimum of 9,875 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet (previously usable). Visitor and employee parking must meet at least the minimum code requirements of the local jurisdiction but available parking up to or in excess of fifty (50) spaces is highly desirable. TENANT:Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Acquisition Services Directorate. LOCATION: Offered properties shall be located within the following delineated areas within San Diego, California: WEST: Pacific Ocean; NORTH: Interstate Highway 8 (I-8) to Friars Road, easterly to California Highway 163 (CA-163), north to Interstate Highway 805 (I-805), north to California Highway 52 (CA-52), East on CA-52 to Interstate Highway 15 (I-15); EAST: I-15 from CA-52 to I-8, westerly along I-8 to CA-163 and southerly along CA-163 to Ash Street; SOUTH: Ash Street from CA-163 westerly to North Harbor Drive, continuing northerly along North Harbor Drive to Rosecrans Avenue and along Rosecrans Avenue to the end of Point Loma. LEASE TERM: The lease will be for fifteen (15) years, ten (10) years firm. REQUIRED: Any offered buildings must be of sound and substantial construction, of a type generally recognized as modern, office space. The space shall be altered to meet the Government’s requirements, shall have a fully serviced rent structure, shall be fully accessible in accordance with ABAAS (previously ADA) standards, and shall conform to applicable Life Safety Performance Level of RP 6 (seismic standards). Offered space must be contiguous. POINT OF CONTACT: Expressions of interest should be submitted to the following person and address in writing, via e-mail or via fax, and should provide the building name, address, and the offered square footage. Response should also include a floor plan, a site plan, accessibility to public transit (identifying existing transit stops, route number and schedule) and a list of moderately priced eateries and services within 2 blocks (downtown locations) and eateries within 1 mile and other employee services located within 2 miles of the site if located outside of downtown San Diego.
