- NOTICE OF INTENT Subject: SUPPORT SERVICES FOR BLOUNT ISLAND COMAND This is a notice of intent to negotiate a sole source to a small business service disabled veteran owned business. A base year with two option years to 4010 Consulting Inc. for Information Technology Support Services to include:The contractor shall provide coordination and support on business transformation issues related to information technology (IT) at Blount Island Command and LOGCOM. Specifically, the contractor shall liaison with HQMC C4, HQMC P&R, MARCORSYSCOM (MCHS & MCSELMS), AND MCNOSC on IT procurement and information assurance related activities and develop and present briefings to include subject matter expert advice and recommendations at senior staff meetings to provide a streamlined approach to IT procurement and information assurance accreditations. The contractor must have a very broad range of IT technical and operational expertise and must be able to draw on that depth of experience to provide technical leadership in the collection, analysis, validation and reporting of IT program data. Ability to communicate and establish effective relationships, prepare and present briefings to senior management on complex/controversial issues, communicate complex technical requirements to non-technical personnel, and play a key role in gathering data from several different sources. The NAICS code is 611420, size standard is 500. A formal solicitation will not be issued. Any responsible small business may submit a quote which may be considered by the agency.
