Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-09-Q-0770 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36, Defense Circular Number 20090825 and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2009-0803. (iv) This procurement is being issued 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 332618. (v) The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, transportation, supervision, materials, equipment, and management: to provide the following: Work consists of All installation/Labor and Equipment to furnish two new wire cage storage cages; inside of a storage warehouse; Installation will require rearranging current wire cages; in order to make the new ones fit as requested. Additionally, this requirement requires the installation of Fifty-eight (58 ea) wire shelves to be installed in the existing Lockers. The following CLINs are an extended description to our requirement; Clarifications to be discussed at site visit. CLIN 0001: NEW WIRECRAFTERS, or equal, PARTITIONS to match sizes and materials, as what is currently installed in the warehouse; Specifications: 120" DEEP x 114" WIDE WITH TOP COVER. SLIDING DOOR LOCKABLE BY PADLOCK. 9'2" HIGH. STEEL; (QTY 2 LOT) CLIN 0002: STEEL WIRECRAFTERS, or equal, RACKING UNITS FOR EACH PARTITION. 72" WIDE X 30" DEEP. THREE SHELVES PER UNIT WITH WIRE DECKING FOR SHELVES. STEEL. (QTY 2 LOT) CLIN 0003: MODULAR DRAWER UNITS. 4 6" HIGH DRAWERS. 33" HIGH X 30" WIDE X 28" DEEP. STEEL. CLIN 0004: NEW WIRECRAFTERS, or equal, WIRE SHELVES 48" X 24" TO BE INSTALLED IN EXISTING LOCKERS/WIRE CAGES. STEEL. CLIN: 0005: INSTALLATION TO MOVE TWO EXISTING PARTITIONS AND ALSO ADD TWO NEW UNITS FACING EACH OTHER. CLIN 0006: INSTALLATION OF 58 WIRE SHELVING UNITS TO ATTACH TO WIRE PANELS. CLIN 0007: INSTALLATION OF RACKING SYSTEMS AND DRAWER UNITS IN PARTITIONS. ALL CLARIFICATIONS SHALL BE DISCUSSED AT THE MANDITORY SITE VISIT. All potential bidders are reminded, in accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration (CCR), that failure to register in CCR by Friday, September 25, 2009 at 10:00am (PST) will make an offeror ineligible for award. Contractor must also have NAICS code listed in this solicitation on their CCR Registration. Shipping will be FOB Destination to F1PT5A - 48 RQS, 4625 S. PHOENIX STREET, BLDG 4843, DAVIS-MONTHAN Air Force Base, AZ 85707. The provision at 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-1--Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.212-2--Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on the lowest price technically acceptable, and the quote that will yield the best value to the Government.
