- This is a Sources Sought announcement only. No solicitation exists at this time. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District is seeking interested firms with an office located within Region IV (GA, AL, NC, TN, MS, FL, KY, SC) which have 236220 among their approved NAICS Codes for the purposes of construction of an addition to the existing dental clinic and support functions, at Fort Benning, GA. Supporting facilities include utilities, site improvements, and parking. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Interested Contractors should have the experience and capabilities to perform construction that meets all of the following criteria: (1) significant addition construction projects; (2) LEED documenting requirements/ at least one lead certified employee (3) construction of medical or dental treatment facilities of at least 5,000 SF. Projects submitted should clearly demonstrate the required criteria. For the medical facility requirement; the features of the construction that reflect the additional complexity of medical and dental work should be identified. Examples of this include: medical air and gas systems; laboratories; and installation and construction for specialized medical equipment including X-ray machines, CT scanners, etc. All interested contractors have until 9 October 2009 at 11:00 AM to submit your company's business size (8a, HUBZone, etc), evidence of capabilities and experience in the three criteria above, and bonding capabilities in accordance with FAR 28.1. The guidelines for submittals are no more than 3 of your most recent, relevant projects with a page limit of three..All submittals should be mailed to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, SAVANNAH DISTRICT, and Attn: CT-C/ Craig R.
