- RECOVERY -- THIS AWARD NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. Construct the new Riverlands Sanctuary Orientation Center (RSOC) located on the Rivers Project, which will provide reception, orientation and disseminate information to the 200,000+ annual visitors to the existing Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary (RMBS). The RSOC will provide a facility to engage the public in experiences that are provocative, educational, and encourage a broader understanding and appreciation of all the resources and features of the RMBS, the role it plays in sustaining federal migratory bird populations and advancing the Corps overall water resource development mission. Visitors will generally consist of school groups transported to the center by school bus and members of the general public pursuing nature based recreational and educational experiences. Additional visitors will arrive by car and/or tour bus. In accordance with section 803 evaluation requirements, the evaluation consensus board (using the evaluation criteria identified in the RFP), determined The Clement Group, LLC as the best value contractor to perform these services.
