- FBO Posting: Special Notice # SN8110-0002POSTED DATE: 9/28/2009SUBJECT: Monthly Access Fee and Relay Service into Automated Flight Following - Aircraft Tracking, using existing installed equipment; S100 Automated Flight Following (AFF) Iridium System with 2 way tracking. Under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), Aviation Management intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order to Latitude Technologies on 11/01/2009 for the continued Automated Flight Following Service. This announcement constitutes the only notice. The NAICS code is 517410, Satellite Telecommunications. The sole source authority for this purchase is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Determinations not to compete this proposed procurement were made because of follow on service to existing installed equipment. This is not a request for quotes.
