- The proposed contract action is for the maintenance of Hospital Dictaphone equipment and software, for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with Nuance Communications Inc. 3984 Pepsi Cola Drive, Melbourne, FL 32934. The purchase will be on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, due to proprietary hardware and software manufactured and maintained by the company. Service is for Dictaphone equipment located at the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, Fayetteville AR and the CBOC's that are serviced by the VHSO. Interested persons/vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no written solicitation. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS code) is 811219, and the size standard is $7 million. This service is for a one year period only, there are no options periods.
