- W91QV1-09-T-0135 U.S. Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) intends to award a contract to Fort Belvoir Jewish Activities -Saralyn Astrow as the Jewish Activities Coordinator. This sole source award is based under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements to Fort Belvoir Jewish Activities-Saralyn Astrow 5950 12th St #101, Fort Belvoir, Virginia 22060. This requirement is for the contractor to work in support of and under the general supervision of the Staff Chaplain in support of the Jewish Community. In addition, the contractor will oversee and provide the logistical and administrative support to meet the religious, cultural, and educational needs of the Jewish Congregation and coordination of day to day operations, regular services and special services in support of the Staff Chaplain Office, maintaining close consultation with the congregational Rabbi and JCC, The NAICS code is 813110 with a size standard of 7.0 million dollars. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their capabilities by responding to this requirement, no later than 10:00 am EST, 25 September 2009. All information submitted should support the offerors capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offerors bona fide capability to provide these items. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses may be submitted via email if the total file size is less than 5MB.
