- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-West, Presidio of Monterey has a new requirement to paint the interior of building 6 at EL Monte US Army Reserve Center at EL Monte, CA. The intent of this project is to repair all wall surfaces and paint within building 6 at the USARC to include: Patch/putty all holes, sand, clean all walls and ceiling, with drywall compound or similar material and remove existing rubber cove base before applying 2-coats of paint to all interior walls within building 6of the USARC and to replace rubber cove base with new. Remove all nails, screws, and patch holes to match surrounding areas per plans within the Government facility at El. Monte, USARC. Solicitation number W9124N-09-R-0047 will be available on or about 14 August 2009. A MANDATORY SITE VISIT is scheduled for Tuesday, 25 August 2009 at 10:00am (PST). Site Visit location is: U. S. Army Reserve Center El. Monte, Building 6, El. Monte, CA The primary Site Visit POC is Ms. Deborah Burr, (951)653-6251. Alternate Site Visit POC: Wayne Alves, (562) 795-1444. Only contractors that sign in during the mandatory site visit will be considered for this acquisition. Proposals are due Tuesday, 8 September 2009 at 4:30 pm (PST). This acquisition is a 100 percent set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Firms only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238320 with a size standard of $14.0M. Performance period is 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Payment and performance bonds are required for this project and must be submitted within fifteen days after contract award. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. Solicitation number W9124N-09-R-0047 will be available on or about 14 August 2009 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (http://www.fbo.gov) and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/).
