Description
This is a modification to the synopsis entitled VACUUM OVEN. You are notified thatthe following changes are made: THESE SPECS ARE ADDED TO THE ORIGINAL REQUEST.1.What is the workspace requirement of the Vacuum Oven where the temperature needsto be within +/-5F as specified in #3 of the solicitation (2 ft wide by 2 ft long by 2ft high)2.It is called a Vacuum Oven and there is no specifications with regard to therequirements for Vacuum levels required, pump speed, pumps, etc. Option for Vacuum pump3/4HP with 12 gallon reserve tank capable of 28 Hg3.Is there any constraints on the voltage or power the oven needs to operate withor within (220 or 480 is ok)4.is there any physical constraints on the overall oven size MAX: 4'6" wide x 3'6"long x 7'9" high5.What is the size specification for the 6 vacuum ports listed in #10 of thesolicitation Six (6) interior vacuum stubs (each a 3/8" NPT BI pipe w/ male threadedend on the interior and a shut-off cock on the exterior) will be piped to a main vacuummanifold (1- " NPT BI pipe w/ male ends) mounted on the exterior of the oven6.How are the vacuum transducers that measure the part vacuum connected to theparts within the vacuum oven as specified in #6 of the solicitation (I dont know, I wasjust told you could do this. Can we not respond to this for now, since there was onlyone company who asked)7.Please clarify standard as applies to the active vacuum transducers asspecified in #6 of the solicitation (I just took that word out. It didnt meananything)8.Is there a requirement for the materials to be used for the chamber Doesntmatter as long as meets the 1000F operating temperature.The due date for responses is extended until Monday September 28th, 2009 close ofbusiness at 4:30 pm.Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. Thesedocuments will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWWbrowser application.
