- Description
- Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment Service (VR&E) has a requirement to provide Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Services for the Regional Office - Chicago, Illinois, and with Outbased offices throughout the state. The VR&E Services solicited are: Complete Initial Assessment/Evaluation; Case Management; Employment Services; Educational and Vocational Counseling; and Discrete Services. The VA may award one or more contracts for these services. The contracts shall be performance based, fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts. The period of performance for the awarded contracts shall include a six-month base period and two option periods, each three-months in length. The service will be considered for sole sourced to Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned/Veteran Owned Small Business or set-aside to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned/Veteran Owned Small Business firms. Awards shall be made based on the evaluation criteria established in the solicitation. The solicitation will be released on or before October 6, 2009. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 624310 and the size standard is $7 million. Telephonic inquiries will not be accepted.
