- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), Panama City, FL intends to issue a solicitation for Field Service Representative (FSR) to support operation, maintenance and training for the U.S. Marine Corps Mine Roller System (USMC MRS) on or about 29 October 2009. The requirement will be solicited as a competitive procurement action on the basis of full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The resulting contract will provide USMC MRS users with single points of contact at various locations and countries to provide in-theater Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)/Field Service Representatives (FSRs) for organization through intermediate level maintenance and repair of mine roller systems and associated Counter-Improvised Explosive Devices (C-IED) kits. Security clearances at the SECRET level will be required. The resultant contract will be cost plus fixed-fee for a defined maximum level of effort and have a maximum period of performance of up to five years (a base year plus four option periods; each option period will consist of one year). In accordance with FAR 5.102(a) (7), availability of this requirement will be limited to the electronic medium. The Government will NOT provide hard copies (paper sets) or CD-ROMs of this solicitation.
