- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912P5-09-T-0410. RECOVERY PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR under: W912P5-09-T-0410, General Electric Company. The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement to repair a total of six existing General Electric amplidynes at the Barkley Power Plant. This procurement is only afforded to General Electric Company due to their proprietary equipment. This procurement is therefore procured under FAR 6.302-1 and DFARS 206.301-1, Only One Responsible Source. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract to General Electric Company. This notice is not a solicitation.
