- RECOVERY - Provide biologist support services for the NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service, Long Beach Area Office, Long Beach, California. In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, Pub. L. 111-5, the Government posts this notice FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This opportunity was awarded to Ocean Associates, Incorporated of Arlington, Virginia, under GSA Schedule GS10F0567P. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NFMS) awarded a Firm-Fixed Price purchase order against the existing GSA contract for Biologist support services. SERVICE DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this purchase order is to provide biologist support services for Long Beach Area Office, in Long Beach, California. The Contractor shall provide support services to satisfy overall operational objectives of promoting the protection, conservation, and recovery of anadromous fish and their habitat. The primary objective is to provide contractor services and deliverables through performance of implementing the statutes and mandates of the Endangered Species Act (ESA) with particular emphasis on Sections 4 and 7.
