- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912CM09T0215. 1. The purpose of this amendment is to reopen this solicitation and give offerors an opportunity to provide information pertaining to experience in overhaul and major repair to sideloaders. 2. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items is amended to state: Award will be made to the responsible vendor with lowest priced technically acceptable (LPTA) quote that meets the minimum requirements for each line item. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) The lowest total price offered that is technically acceptable. (2) Technical acceptability is a pass or fail factor. Offer will receive a rating of pass if it demonstrates that the offeror has had prior experience in overhaul and major repair of at least three (3) Klaus 26-ton or similar type of side loading cranes and associated equipment. 3. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items Addendum to 52.212-1 (1) (a) is amended to state: Provide details of prior experience (date, quantity and technical skills still available) in overhaul and major repair on three projects pertaining to with the Klaus 26 Ton or similar type of side loading crane and associated equipment. 4. The due date for any new information is 16.00 on September 25th Central European Time.
