- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center - Indian Head Division (NSWC/IHD) has a requirement to procure two (2) self-contained high/low temperature environmental test chambers. Each unit shall include a conditioning chamber (area where the test item is located), refrigeration system, heating system, air circulation system, and of temperature cycling, temperature storage, and temperature testing required by MIL-STD-8T0 and MIL-STD-331 (see note number 9). For complete requirements, see attached solicitation and Statement of Work therein. The FSC Code for this procurement is 6636 and NAICS code is 334513. The award of this solicitation anticipates award of a FIRM FIXED PRICE contract. In accordance with FAR Subpart 19.13, the following clause, 52.219-4 Notice of price evaluation preference for HUBZone small business concerns, shall apply to this solicitation. The final award decision will be based upon a evaluation of price, delivery, and past performance. The successful Offeror will be the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) based upon a evaluation of price, delivery, responsiveness to the Statement of Work as outlined in the RFQ. Technical evaluations will be determined on an "acceptable/unacceptable" basis. Firms deemed unacceptable will be eliminated from consideration for award. Responses with proposed delivery other than FOB Destination (FAR 52.247-34) will be considered non-responsive. Responders to this announcement must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) www.ccr.gov. Responses to this announcement from firms not registered in the CCR will be considered non-responsive.
