- The 37th Contracting Squadron is intending to award a sole-source purchase order to 5D Information Management, Inc. for the purchase of Annual Surround Proprietary Software License and Maintenance. Planning purchase request for surround proprietary software license maintenance. Request Base Year plus Four Option Years: Base Year: 01 OCT 2009 - 30 SEPT 2010 First Option: 01 OCT 2010 - 30 SEPT 2011 Second Option: 01 OCT 2011 - 30 SEPT 2012 Third Option: 01 OCT 2012 - 30 SEPT 2013 Fourth Option: 01 OCT 2013 - 20 SEPT 2014 Surround Database System version 4.0 from Haemonetics Software Solutions at the Lackland Blood Donor Center for the Periods of 22 October 2009 through 30 September 2010. To include maintenance and software support. Surround System performs an open laboratory system that collects test results from instruments or from other laboratories and performs applicable decision-making to determine the validity of the test results. Complete, test data may be transferred to the appropriate client automatically or manually in one by one six methods, modem, fax, serial, network, email or print. ---- Provide unlimited application and technical phone support ---- Support 7 days a week, 24 hours a day Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation for offers. However, all proposals received within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any interested party may inquire with the above point of contacts. The Government intends to evaluate and award without discussions on this procurement. The intent of this procurement is to award based on sole source requirement. Quotes are not being requested and written solicitation will not be used. The justification for this sole source procurement is to continue mission support in the training fields. 5D Information Management, Inc. can provide this unit. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36 and DFARS Change Notice 20090825, Standard Industrial Code 7030, North American Industry Classification System Code 541511 and Size Standard of 23.0 Million apply to this procurement.
