- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W91278-09-R-0130. Refurbish the 20 ton draft tube Gantry Crane at Jim Woodruff Powerhouse, Chattahoochee, Florida. Contractor to provide requirements as follows: 1. Demolition: remove the upper house canopy permanently and do not reinstall; (the solicitation's scope of work will have the complete specifications) 2. Mechanical requirements and, 3. Electrical requirements (see solicitation for complete requirements). This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses using NAICS code 333923 for which the size standard is 500 employees. It is contemplated that a Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded. The solicitation will only be issued as a direct download at the following website: http:www.fbo.gov. The solicitation is due to be posted on or about September 23, 2009. The solicitation will only be issued as a direct download at the following website: https//www.fbo.gov. All prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. The solicitation will not be provided in printed format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Governments best interest. It is the offerors responsibility to check the website for solicitation posting to include any changes (amendments to the solicitation). The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) contains specific acquisition requirements that must be met when using funds appropriated by the Act.
