- Description
- CROOKSTON RIVERBANK RESTORATION: The project is located along the Red Lake River near the city of Crookston, MN. The work consists of clearing the existing (rip rap) rock in the channel to the originally designed elevation and constructing a 6 foot high berm in the designed location. The berm will consist of sheet piling 20 feet in length that will extend to the channel sides. The sheet piling will be driven 14 feet underground. In addition to the sheet piling, clay material will be added to the upstream and downstream sides with a 6:1 slope extending to the channel elevation. The material will then be covered with R470 riprap. Any disturbed area will be smoothed out and a seed mixture will be applied for vegetative growth. The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price is between $250,000 and 500,000. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) Code is 237990 and the small business size standard (Heavy Engineering and Construction) is $33,500,000
