- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated ServiceNetwork (VISN 3), James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx New York,Network Acquisitions and Logistics program is currently seeking SmallBusiness with the ability to provide complete on-site full Service andPreventive Maintenance and annual inspection for Veeder Rootunderground storage tank (UST) and above ground storage tank (AGST)equipment and all other devices currently located at the VA HudsonValley HCS, Montrose Campus AND Castle Point Campus. The firm will be responsible for providing all management, supervision,labor, materials, supplies and equipment, and shall plan, schedule,coordinate and assure effective performance of a preventive maintenanceprogram, annual inspection and certifications and related servicespertaining to this solicitation. Bidders shall inspect the premises prior to submitting bids in order tobe fully aware of the scope of services required. Failure to do so willin no way relieve the successful bidder from performing in accordancewith the strict intent and meaning of the specifications withoutadditional cost to the Medical Center. B)The bidder shall have, prior to submitting his/her bid,inspected the elevators to establish number of stories and elevatorstops, Medical Center population and official working hours. C)The bidder shall inspect each UST and AGST to establish theactual condition of the Veeder Root or similar equipment. Thisrequirement must be understood. No claim shall be allowed forcorrection of deficiencies claimed to exist prior to award of contract. D)An appointment for inspection should be arranged during normalworking hours, Monday thru Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and4:30 p.m. Any emergency calls to the contractor shall be returned within four (4)hours within the same business day The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code(NAICS) for this procurement is 237120. To be considered a smallbusiness under this code the SBA size standard must not exceed $33.5million.
