- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS PROCUREMENT IS SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, Directorate of Contracting is contemplating the procurement of: The Contractor shall be required to provide a non personnal service contract for water deliveries for the JLENS program.The JLENS test sites are located at the Utah Test and Training Range Both Test sites are located approximately 23 miles away. The water will be purchased in bulk 5 gallon containers that will be placed on water dispensers, rather than individual bottles. JLENS Program water delivery contract service request for the North Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR).Delivery service should start in late October 2009. Request a multi-year contract with option years. Delivery frequencies should be bi-weekly, and the quantities (5 gallon bottles) should start with 50 bottles at each bi-weekly deliver for a total of 100 bottles per month. These quantities may need to be increased/decreased appropriately due to amount of personnel fluctuating on-site during heavy testing times, or hotter months, etc. The type of this procurement will be a delivery order contract.There will be approximately 100 personnel at the facility for FY10. These numbers may increase.The program has already purchased 8 cooler stands (4 for each building), so the contract will not need cooler stands. This procurement will be for one base term (30 OCT 2009, to 31 MAR 2010), first term option (01 APR 2010-31 MAR 2011), second term option (01 APR 2011-31 MAR 2012), third term option (01 APR 2012-31 MAR 2013), and fourth term option (01 APR 2013-31 MAR 2014). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Supporting evidence must be furnished to demonstrate the ability to comply with the governments requirements. The solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers on RFQ W911S6-09-T-0069. All firms responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is: (S114). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is (4941). North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) is (312112). Size standard is 500 Employees. All replies to this procurement.
