- U.S. Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) intends to seek sources that can provide professional packing/moving services for the relocation of barrack furniture and personal effects of soldiers on Fort Belvoir, VA (see attached SOW). Quoted pricing shall include; configurations labor and material charges. This sources sought notice is a request for quotations and is set aside for small businesses only. Interested parties should submit quotes, past performance and capability statements for similar moves to Stephenie Charlot, MICC, 9410 Jackson Loop Suite 101, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060 or by email to stephenie.w.charlot@us.army.mil, no later than 11:00 am EST, 28 SEPTEMBER 2009. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses may also be submitted via hard copy to: US Army MICC, Stephenie Charlot, 9410 Jackson Loop Suite 101, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. The anticipated period of performance is 30 September 2009 through 15 October 2009. The selected NAICS code is 484210, Used Household and Office Goods Moving. NAICS Code 484210 must be on Contractor's CCR before a quote will be accepted. CCR Requirement - Company must be registered on Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award could be made to them. If company is not registered in CCR, they may do so by going to CCR web site at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA Requirement - Company must be registered on Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) before an award could be made to them. If company is not registered in CCR, they may do so by going to CCR web site at https://orca.bpn.gov/ CCR and ORCA registrations must be updated (not expired). All information submitted should support the offerors capability to provide the services required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offerors bona fide capability to provide these items.
