- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR MTM BUILDERS, INC. UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER: N62473-09-C-1240 REPAIR OBSTACLE COURSE AND TRACK, AREA 609, AT MARINE CORPS RECRUIT DEPOT, SAN DIEGO, CA. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform the work described herein at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD). This project shall remove all existing pole structures, and installing new structural members to replicate the existing training obstacles. In addition, the existing fall safety perimeters shall be remove and replaced. The renovation work shall be sequenced and coordinated with MCRD Facilities Division Staff to minimize disruption to normal day to day operations in the obstacle course. Refer to Part 6 for delineated areas of work. The project shall be Sequenced, or Phased into the two following efforts (not necessarily in this order): Sequence 1 - Western Obstacle Course Sequence 2 - Eastern Obstacle Course "This acquisition to support the Navy/Marine Corps mission was awarded sole source to an 8(a) certified firm in accordance with FAR 6.302-5(4), the 8(a) Program."
