- Notice of Intent: The VAHMCS, Ft. Howard, MD, VISN 5, in accordance with Public Law 109.461 (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business), intends to award a SDVOSB contract Ft Howard Janitorial Services. A direct requirement for the Baltimore Environmental Management Service Department at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Baltimore, MD 21201. NAICS Code 561720 applies and the Size Standard is $16.5 million. The Period of Performance will be for one base year and 4 options years estimated from the date of contract award. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or a request for offerors. No solicitation package is available at this time. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice (VA-245-09-RQ-0314) must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 PM (EST) on the 30th of September 2009. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
