- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Center for Patient Safety intends to issue a solicitation requesting proposals to provide accurate and timely product recall information in accordance with solicitation specifications. Information must be accessible in a web-based format, twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. A complete Statement of Work will be included in the solicitation document that will be available on Fedbizopps on or about August 8, 2009. This requirement is not for the development of a system of collecting medical product recall data. The system offered must be a commercial, off-the-shelf system. Developmental systems will not be considered. Offerors will be required to complete and return all information designated in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items. Questions shall be directed to Patricia Fox, Contracting Officer at patricia.fox2@va.gov. Solicitation responses will be due no later than Tuesday, September 8, 2009, 2:00 pm local time at the Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11 Logistics Office, 24 Frank Lloyd Wright Drive, Lobby M, Suite M2200, Ann Arbor, Michigan, 48105. This procurement is not subject to set aside procedures. The NAICS code for this procurement is 519190. The size standard for this procurement is $7 million dollars in average gross annual receipts for the preceding three years.
