- TNSN: 6140-01-461-4575 Item Description: Battery Storage Drawing Mil-Spec 8175716-1 Quantity: (including option quantity): 201 Unit of Issue: EA Destination Information: Tracy, CA and Richmond, VA Delivery Schedule:231 days ARO All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. This acquisition is for architect-engineer (A-E) services, and is procured in accordance with the BrooksA-E Act Subpart 36.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. A-E firms meeting the requirements described in this announcment to submit: (1) a Standard Form (SF) 330, Architect-Engineer Qualifications, Parts I and II and (2) any requested to the procurement office shown. Firms registering for consideration for future Federal A-E projects are encoureaged to submit SF 330 Part II, General Qualifications, to http://www.bpn.gov/orca/login.aspx, and to update at least SF 330 Part II on file in this central Federal database do not need to submit a Part II for this acquisition unless stated in announcement. Firms responding to this announcement befor the closing date will be considered for selection limitations indicated with respect to size and geographic location of firm, specialized technical expertise or other. Following an evaluation of the qualifications and performance data submitted, three or more firms that are considered highly qualified to provide the type of services required will be chosen for negotitation. Selection of firms for negotiationmade in order of preference based on the demonstrated competence and quanlifications necessary for satisfaction in accordance with the specific selection criteria listed in the announcement. Based upon market research, the government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisiion of Commercial items for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identity to the officer, their capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of 10/07/09. The Small Business size standard is 1000 employees. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictiove technical data: therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only appproved sources uner the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1). Approved sources are cage 09052 and cage 74025. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award ecision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the soliciation.
