- This was announced on 17 Sep 09 as CASCOM Battle Development. The nomenclature is changed with this modification to CASCOM Combat Development. Solicitation number is changed to W911S0-09-T-0108. This modification will also change the functional areas. Contract responsibilities will include the following functional areas: Concepts, Operational Architecture (OA), Organizational Requirements, Materiel Requirements, Doctrine, Base Realignment and Closure Support, and Quality Assurance Support. Supporting tasks are: Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM); Manprint; Studies/Analysis; Data Collection and Management; Concept Experimentation Program (CEP); Performance-Based Logistics (PBL); and Nonpersonal Support Services. The solicitation will be issued on or about 25 September 2009 and closing on or about 13 October 2009. Point of contact for this action is Sheila Hill, Contract Specialist.
