- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00244-09-T-0701. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-36 and DFARS Change Notice 20090825. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 334220 and the Small Business Standard is 750 employees. This is a Sole Source action with UAV Pro Incorporated, Blackstone, VA. 23824. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, Detachment Seal Beach requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: CLIN 0001 - MVR III, compact, rugged lightweight multi-band receiver capable to receive direct live, full-motion video from a wide range of video transmissions systems.Trans-reflective color 640X480 5.7" TFT display provides critical bright light viewing conditions. Built in processor for simultaneous viewing of live video and metadata, without the need for a seperate laptop computer. BNC video output jack enables separate recording of standard (RS-170) video signal. Operating temperature range -10 to +60 degrees C minimum. Antenna type, dipole with +5dB gain and connector Type N male. Receiver is fitted with three separate receivers, selectable from L, S, Lower C and Upper C bands. Dimensions 6.5" x 8.6" X 2.37" and weighs less than 5 lbs including batteries. Compatable with Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV) and aerial targeting/navigation pods. Required delivery date is 45 days after receipt of order. FOB Destination, Fallon, NV. However, all proposals received within seven days of the publication date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Quoters must be registered in the CCR database to be considered for award.
