- Description
- The purpose of this notice is announce that the Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) San Diego will be issuing a solicitation for hullboard insulation services to be performed on U.S. Navy ships and other Government vessels within a 50 mile radius of San Diego, which may include Oceanside, CA. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The Contractor will be required to provide all labor services and material in accordance with the established statement of work and all applicable Government specifications and regulations. Inspection and acceptance of all services will be performed at destination by the cognizant Government representative. The successful offeror will be required to have a NAVSEA Quality System (IAW NAVSEA Standard Item 009-004) approved and in place at time of contract award. The Government intends to 1) award a multiple award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for a base year period and four one-year option periods with a minimum guarantee, and 2) then compete subsequent delivery orders among those firms that are awarded contracts. The delivery orders will be firm-fixed price.
