- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), AMS (Agricultural Marketing Service), National Science Laboratory in Gastonia, NC intends to issue sole source contract for extended preventive maintenance to Steris Corp for Steris manufactured equipment to include: 2 - Steris Sterilizers, 1 - Autoclave and 2 - Steam Generators under the authority of FAR 6.302-2 and 42 U.S.C. 253(c)(2). The type of service is the Select Choice level and includes preventive maintenance labor and parts. This agreement includes field service, scheduled maintenance, parts and labor by Steris trained personnel. The contract will be written for a base plus two option years; a total of three years. Steris Corp is the Sole Factory Authorized Supplier of parts and service for the equipment that Steris manufactures. Steris sells and ships replacement parts, distributors are not utilized. This is a firm-fixed price with an total estimated value of $56,261.54. This notice is for information purposes only. No formal solicitation will be issued.
