Description

GENERAL INTENTION. The intention of this solicitation is to obtain elevator maintenance and repair services for elevator systems at the Naval Health Clinic Charleston, by means of a firm fixed-price contract. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, tools, supplies, supervision, incidental engineering, and management required to perform inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, and component replacement as required to maintain elevator systems and associated fire safety and monitoring systems in accordance with the manufacturer's original specifications. Elevator systems covered under this contract are listed in Attachment J-C1. Elevator systems covered under this contract are listed in Attachment J-C1. Work includes the performance of service call work, preventive maintenance of equipment, and routine and periodic inspections and tests. Contractor is to perform adjustments in order to maintain the original designed speed, performance time (including acceleration and retardation) and to maintain the original door opening and closing time. Contractor will inspect and test the group dispatching systems, and make adjustments necessary for the system to perform as designed, and perform other services as described herein.
