Description

The purpose of this announcement is to make notice of the USDA - Forest Service, Alaska Region’s intent to modify AG-0109-P-09-0030 award to Coastal and Ocean Resources Inc., 214-9865 W. Saanich Road, Suite 214, North Saanich, BC, Canada V8L5Y8 on or about September 28, 2009. The purpose of this modification is to add 2417 kilometers of shoreline for the image interpretation and development of mapping products for coastlines along National Forest Service lands from Coastal and Ocean Resources’ previously collected data to the existing contract. The previous data was collected under a contract between Coastal and Ocean Resources and NOAA. The original data included low-altitude aerial video and digital still imagery of the coastal Zone. The data collected by Coastal and Ocean Resources was during summer low tides and video imagery was accompanied by continuous, simultaneous commentary by a geologist and a biologist aboard aircraft. All responsible sources interested in this project must submit a capability statement by September 28, 2009 1:00 p.m. Alaska Daylight time for our consideration. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201
