- This Special Notice is issued to communicate to industry and other educational institutions the governments intent to award a sole source contract. The period of performance will be for 12 months. The authority cited for this sole source award is 10 USC 2304(C)(1) or 41 USC 253(C)(1); FAR 6:302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement.
