- Capture your military market...and then some Over 60,000+ potential military customers waiting to learn about your business at the Kirtland AFB annual Armed Forces Day Run. On May 16, 2010, the men and women of the Armed Forces of the United States of America are honored during our half-marathon and 5K run, 5K walk, and Kids' 1 mile fun run. Over 200 hundred runners over the last two years have helped create a signature event hosted by the Kirtland AFB Fitness Center that inspires and honors not only military members but also the public at large. To open our day, ceremonies are officiated amidst the the shadow of the beautiful sun-drenched Sandia Mountains from the beautiful Veteran's Memorial. In 2010, we hope to provide a number of static military displays, an interactive kids' coral, and much more for a full family fun day honoring our troops. Your opportunity to be part of this important event is just a phone call away.
