- Description
- The awardee shall provide contract support services for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Acquisition and Logistics Management by means of a contract. The Office of Acquisition and Logistics Management (OALM) requires a contractor with experience and expert knowledge of federal acquisitions including: experience and knowledge in Federal contracting practices within large biomedical, research organizations, both negotiated contracting and simplified acquisitions; experience and knowledge of the federal contracting organizations, especially using R&D Contracts, personnel structure, and interactions therein; experience and knowledge of logistics and property; and experience and knowledge of federal financial management and auditing practices. The anticipated performance period shall be for a basic period of one year with two (2) one year option periods. This procurement is a total 100% small business set-aside. All interested small business vendors under NAICS 561990(size limitation of $7 Million) are encouraged to submit a quote. The anticipated release date of RFQ NIHOD2009166 is September 28, 2009 with an anticipated quote due date of October 8, 2009. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet at the FedBizOpps website. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential Quoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing (via e-mail) to Zedekiah J. Worsham (worshamz@od.nih.gov) not later than one week before the solicitation due date. Telephone questions will not be accepted.
