- Justification and Approval The Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) Medical Operations Acquisition Support Team intends to award a sole source contract to Intelligent Decision Systems, Inc., 5870 Trinity Pkwy, Suite 200, Centreville, VA 20120-1970, for upgrades to a previously designed Self-Aid Buddy Care online training program. The resulting contract will be firm-fixed price. The AFDW intends to award a contract using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and award to only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any responses to this notice of contract action shall be submitted to Brian Bishop, brian.bishop.ctr@afncr.af.mil, no later than 12:00 PM EST on Monday, 28 September 2009. (NAICS) code is 541511.
