Description
EQUIPMENT LIST The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for the performance of maintenance on an Access Control System in 3 buildings on Eglin AFB with four option periods. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The announcement number is F1T0CY9197A001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561621 with a size standard of $12.5M. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The requirement consists of the following items: MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE on an ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM AND CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION (CCTV) SYSTEMS. Requirements Include: - EQUIPMENT REPAIRED AND/OR REPLACED (SEE ATTACHED EQUIPMENT LIST). INCLUDES, AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE - ON SITE LABOR FOR SERVICE CALLS DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS, - ON SITE LABOR FOR QUARTERLY PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE INSPECTIONS, - SOFTWARE SUPPORT COST FROM MANUFACTURER, AS DEEMED NECESSARY TO KEEP THE SYSTEM FUNCTIONAL, - TELEPHONE TECHNICAL SUPPORT, - ADDITIONAL COVERAGE FOR LIGHTENING DAMAGE. - ALL TESTS AND INSPECTIONS WILL BE DOCUMENTED AND REPORTS PROVIDED. - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE: PROVIDE THE NECESSARY LABOR TO INSTALL ANY DEFECTIVE PERIPHERAL, - UNLIMITED SERVICE CALLS DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS (8 AM TO 5 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, EXCLUDING WEEKENDS AND VENDOR RECOGNIZED HOLIDAYS), - FUNCTIONALLY TEST THE COVERED EQUIPMENT AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY ASSOCIATED WITH THE SYSTEM AT A MUTUALLY AGREED UPON TIME AT NO EXTRA CHARGE - LABOR, TRAVEL, AND EXPENSES FOR SERVICE CALLS ARE INCLUDED AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE, - MAINTAIN THE SYSTEM IN GOOD WORKING ORDER IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF WORKMANSHIP TO INCLUDE THE ADJUSTMENT AND REPLACEMENT OF SERVICEABLE PARTS IN THE MAINFRAME PANEL, - PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICE CONSISTING OF CLEANING AND ADJUSTMENT OF ALL RELATED CONTROL EQUIPMENT PER FACTORY MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. * CONTRACTOR MUST BE ABLE TO RESPOND WTIHIN 2 HOURS TO TROUBLESHOOT AND REPAIR THE ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM UPON NOTIFICATION* ATTACHED EQUIPMENT LIST IS SEPARATED BY ROOMS/SECTIONS LOCATED IN 3 DIFFERENT BUILDINGS OPTION YEARS This contract shall be effective from October 1, 2009 until September 30, 2010. The Government reserves that right to extend this contract four additional years if required. The subsequent option years shall be from October 1, 2010 until September 30, 2011; October 1, 2011 until September 30, 2012; October 1, 2012 until September 30, 2013; and October 1, 2013 until September 30, 2014. Include Option Year pricing with initial bid proposal.
