- Description
- Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with the Arts and Science ET Technologies Infinition, Inc. 3630 Rue Jean-Talon, Trois-Rivieres, QC, Canada G8Y2G7. This contract will be for the procurement of: CLIN 0001: Description: Radar, Part # 10000-11, Unit of Issue: Each, Quantity: 4, Description: 10 Ghz Doppler Radar Head, Model BR-520, Part # 11000-5, Unit of Issue: Each, Quantity: 4, Description: Signal Cable on Reel for BR-520, 100m. Infinition Inc is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the only source that can provide the required radar equipment. Acquiring these items will provide compatibility in form, fit and function with existing Infinition radar systems and software currently in use at USAYPG. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed item. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these services, then you must respond by 25 Sep 2009, 12:00 PM MST. Note the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 4 days instead of 45 days.
