Description
Synopsis - Janitorial Services at TSA Space - Boise Airfield/Gowen Field The General Services Administration (GSA), Northwest Arctic Region, intends to solicit Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Firm Fixed Price type contract for janitorial services contract within the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Space at Boise Air Terminal/Gowen Field (BOI), 3201 Airport Way, Boise, ID 93705. The contractor shall provide the management, supervision, labor, manpower, subcontracts, materials, equipment and supplies necessary to provide janitorial services in a responsible, cost effective, environmentally friendly manner. The interior cleanable space is 9174 SF and requires cleaning 7 days per week. The RFP, with performance work statement, is to be issued on or about October 5, 2009. Offers will be due on or about November 9, 2009, with award on or about November 20, 2009. GSA intends to establish a firm-fixed price, performance based contract. Performance period is December 1, 2009 through November 30, 2010, with potential for four (4) - one (1) year option periods. This acquisition is being considered for a HUB Zone set-aside. If your firm is HUBZone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, please provide the following information via email to the Contracting Specialist no later than October 5, 2009: 1) SBA certification of HUBZone eligibility; 2) Capability statement including recent and relevant work of similar size and scope; 3) A positive statement that your firm intends to propose on this acquisition.. Based on the responses, the Contracting Officer will make a determination whether or not to make this a HUBZone set-aside. If there is not a reasonable expectation of adequate competition as a HUBZone set-aside, the acquisition will be conducted as a 100% small business set aside. It is the responsibility of offerors to monitor www.fedbizoppos.gov for the release of the solicitation, any amendments and additional information. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Successful offerors will be required to successfully complete the Boise Airport Security Clearance process. Successful offeror will be required to be actively registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. Offerors not already registered in CCR database are highly encouraged to register via Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) Prospective contractors shall complete Electronic Annual Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR Database. In accordance with FAR 5.102 interested parties may access the solicitation at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading the solicitation file. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation, any amendments and additional information.
