- Description
- U.S. Customs and Border Protection intends to issue a sole source firm fixed price award to Thales Avionics. The requirements for this purchase are that the contract will exchange a VEMD, PN B19030SB05 for the AS350 aircraft. VEMD, PN B19030SB05 for AS350 aircraft that needs to be repaired must be performed by Thales Avionics. Thales Avionics facilities is the OEM for theis VEMD for the AS350 aircraft installation. They have all the necessary tools and equipment needed to assemble this engine. Thales Avionics meets the requirements of the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations 14 CFR, Part 21 (Certification of Parts), Part 23 (Certification of Aircraft), Part 43 (Maintenance), and Part 145 (Repair Station) to maintain the airworthy condition of the part. If your company feels that they are able to meet the requirements of this purchase you must submit a capabilities statement by email to the contract specialist at Michael.A.Hall@dhs.gov. The email must be received by the response deadline. A copy of the statement of work is available upon emailed request.
