- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO UNICOR using simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to procure FURNITURE by the Washington Air National Guard, 141 ARW, Fairchild AFB, WA. The Govt intends to award a sole source contract for above product to UNICOR. NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE TO UNICOR using the simplified acquisition procedures. Only one responsible source and not other supplies or services will satisfy the agency need to outfit a newly renovated Active Duty building with furniture to accommodate the Command Section, Finance, and Personnel sections for the 141 ARW. Due to extremely short lead time to accomplish a purchase of this large magnitude, before the end of this fiscal year, and due to UNICORs set prices, award will be made to UNICOR. Delivery of the product and service will be not later than 9 Nov 2009. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement.
