- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Rental and Maintenance of Water Based Parts Cleaners General Description: The United States Army Garrison (USAG) Stuttgart Community requires the services of parts cleaners at three primary locations: Panzer Kaserne, Kelley Barracks, and Echterdingen Airfield. The USAG Directorate of Public Works (DPW) requires the rental of 7 ea Water-Based Parts Cleaners for the various motor pools/maintenance shops at these three locations within the Stuttgart US Military Community. Requirements Description: In order to adhere to environmental and health safety standards, solvent-based parts cleaners that emit toxic vapors such as those that contain VOCs or halogenated compounds are not suitable parts cleaner solutions. The USAG DPW requires an environmentally friendly water based cleaner. The contractor shall provide the following items and associated services: -Rental of parts cleaning equipment including all transportation costs for all equipment and materials -Adequate supply of water based cleaning solvent -Filling equipment with water based cleaning solvent -Disposal of the contaminated cleaning solvent -Regular cleaning of the equipment -Total maintenance package for the cleaner equipment with regularly scheduled quarterly maintenance service (8 weeks interval) -Repair or exchange of defective / inoperable equipment -Maintain a physical office presence within 300 km to the USAG Stuttgart Community in order to provide expedient responses to service / maintenance requests Locations: The following are the physical addresses for the positioning of the parts cleaning equipment: Panzer Kaserne, Boeblingen, Germany Bldg #s: 29 26, 29 35, 29 58, 29 69 and 29 70 Echterdingen Airfield, Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany at Bldg # 32 26 Kelley Barracks, Stuttgart-Moehringen at Bldg # 33 19
