- ITEM DESCRIPTION: Seal Ring, Metal NSN: 5330-00-331-5577 SOLICITATION PERIOD: 22 days *ISSUE DATE: September 21, 2009 CLOSING DATE: October 13, 2009* QUANTITY 1,200 EA SPECIFICATION: This is an Air Force Critical Safety Item (CSI). The requirements of CSI will be strictly adhered to. In addition, Contractor First Article Testing (FAT) is required. United Technologies (77445) P/N 4001629, Acceptable Source: Kaydon Ring & Seal (75370) and United Technologies (52661) DESTINATION: Defense Distribution Depot Tracy, CA DELIVERY: 250 days (including time for processing FAT) ACQUISITION NOTES: This acquisition will contain a quantity option provision that will allow the Government to purchase additional units in an amount up to 50% of the base quantity should conditions warrant. Unrestricted. NO DRAWINGS ARE AVAILABLE. It is the Government’s intention to use simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 to award a firm fixed-price contract.
