- Recovery Action - DUNS 078576738. This modification is issued to obligate American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act) of 2009 funds to the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory for the purpose of providing $110,000.00 in operations funding for project # 20454 - Enhance and Accelerate Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) Service Functions to the Federal Government. These funds are to be distributed to Agreement #19209-LBNL-ESPC-Call for FEMP Technical Services, in accordance with AOP# 2004160. Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory will provide Energy Savings Performance Contract technical assistance and project management support activities in accordance with the identified work authorization. None of the funds provided are approved for any type of support service subcontracting. This contract was awarded competitively. The contract type is cost reimbursement because the research and development mission of the laboratory makes it unreasonable to estimate the costs of performance with reasonable certainty thereby making the firm, fixed-price contract type inappropriate.
