- Notice of Sole Source Intent. Please see the attached Sole Source Justification. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The United State Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, VA, Contracting department intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis to PSC Technology, INC., 498 S. Independence Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23452. The award consists of a base year and 2 option year maintenance for Integrated Supply Inventory System (ISIS) software. PSC Technology Incorporated is the sole source proprietor of this software and does not have third-party resellers available. This action is solicited as an unrestricted solicitation. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 511210 with a size standard of $25.0 million. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firms technical capability to meet these requirements by 25 Sept 2009, 10:00 AM EST via e-mail to mohamed.elmi@usmc.mil.
