- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W9114F-09-T-0171. This solicitation is issued as a Request For Quotation, which incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14. This is an unrestricted acquisition. ADDENDUM TO 52.212-1: INSTRUCTIONS TO VENDORS The following paragraphs are hereby amended: Para (a) Does not apply to this RFQ. Para (b) Replace subparagraph (4) with the following: (4)Technical Factor. The vendor must explain how you will comply with the requirements in the request for quote by submitting a written quote which describes the following salient characteristics. Rating Standards: Acceptable or Unacceptable 1.The equipment offered shall have dual chambers. 2.The equipment offered shall have the following cooler dimensions: 11ft-9in x 11ft9in x 7ft10H 3.The equipment offered shall have two flush mounted swing type doors with light: 36in x 80in with a keyed positive action latch. 4.The equipment offered shall have doors equipped with magnetic gasket, chrome latch, hinges, heaters, and closers. 5.The equipment offered shall have a dial thermometer, 2 in exterior reading -40 to +60 degrees. 6.The equipment offered shall have two (2) extra 4ft fluorescent lights. 7.The equipment offered shall have a partition wall which locks into walls, ceiling, and the floor. 8.The equipment offered shall have insulation with an overall thickness between 4 and 5 inches. 9.The equipment offered shall have UL approved electrical components. 10.The equipment offered shall have an embossed aluminum exterior. 11.The equipment offered shall have a 24 gauge USDA white galvanized interior. Failure to receive an acceptable rating of any of the 11 technical subfactor will result in an unacceptable technical rating unless the error(s), deficiency (ies) or omission (s) can be corrected. All CLINs shall be priced. If you fail to price all CLINs, your quote will not be considered for award. Para (c) Change 30 to 60. Para (m) Quotes shall describe how your system contains the one salient characteristic and is an equal to the walk-in refrigerator. Para (n) ELECTRONIC OFFERS.
