- I.INTRODUCTION A.This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. B.The combined synopsis and Request for Proposal (RFP) number is: TARRES19009/TARRES19109 C.This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005- 36, Effective August 11, 2009. D.The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 332999. This is 100% Small Business Set Aside. E.Basis for award Award will be made to the offeror that provides the impact chamber/blast suppressor and all of the technical requirements at the lowest price. Contractor must meet the requirements below in order to be eligible for award. II. GENERAL A.The United States Army Tank and Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) in Warren, Michigan has a requirement for the following: This request is for the purchase of Supplies described as: ****See attached Scope Of Work and Drawings.**** B.Award will be made to the offeror who meets the technical requirements at the lowest price. Please email all inquires and quotes to matthew.kunkel2@us.army.mil C.This message will be posted until 01:00 P.M (noon) EST, 24 September 2009. Quotations must be received by TACOM no later than 01:00 PM-EST, 24-SEP-2009. Questions or inquiries can be emailed to matthew.kunkel2@us.army.mil. Contractors must be listed in the Central Contractor Registry prior to receiving an award. Refer to website www.ccr.gov for registration information. III.SOLICITATION PROVISIONS AND CONTRACT CLAUSES.
