- THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This is a Sources Sought announcement only. This is not a request for quotes (RFQ), invitation for bid (IFB), request for proposal (RFP), request for application (RFA) or an announcement of a solicitation and does not assume the government will award a contract or proceed with any of the above solicitations in the near future. This synopsis is issued for the sole purpose of the 55th Contracting Squadron to conduct Market Research in accordance with FAR Part 10. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This acquisition is for the purchase of : 0001 - Install 530 square feet (sf) new EverTop Rubber Surfacing. 0002 - Complete installation of Infant Maze that has already been purchased. 0003 - 18 foot square LSI CoolTopper 0004 - Installatin of CoolTopper 0005 - 466 sf Surface America UltraTile, 2 ½ inches thick, Carnival Color, with interlocking grid, edge reducers (bevels) and adhesive. FURNISH and INSTALL in Multi Purpose Room B 0006 - 360 sf Surface America Ultra Tile, 2 ½ inches thick, Carnival Color, with interlocking grid, edge reducers (bevels) and adhesive, FURNISH and INSTALL in Multi Purpose Room D HOW TO SUBMIT: Any businesses capable of performing this effort are requested to furnish a sufficient supporting evidence. Please include your company's name, address, telephone number, point of contact with e-mail address, business size, Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS), Central Contractor Registration (CCR) number, Federal Cage Code, and a general description of the company with proven ability to meet requirements. Your company must be registered in On-Line Representations and Certifications (ORCA). To register, go to http://orca.bpn.gov. Respondents capable of providing this product are requested to submit capability information electronically to alexander.larsen@offutt.af.mil. Reponses are due by 1500 pm cst on 23 September 2009. Responses to this announcement should indicate whether the respondent is a small business, 8(a) concern, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, women-owned small business, or historically black college or university (HBCU) or minority institution (MI) (as defined by the clause at DFARS 252.226-7000). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) is 423910; Small business size standard is 500 Employees. This RFI is not a commercial solicitation per FAR Part 12. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Quote, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This Sources Sought should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought is strictly voluntary and any offer submitted by such a firm will be evaluated without prejudice. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought.
